The job
Fire reinstatement of a working golf club — fabric, structure and interiors brought back so members could return.
What we walked into
Fire damage does not present as a neat drawing. Scope only becomes honest after opening-up, and the building had to return to use without the job dragging across a whole season.
What we did
- Investigative strip-out and agreed reinstatement scope
- Masonry repair and a new steel staircase package
- Joinery, decoration and interior finishes
- Building control and a written variation trail
Outcome
A clubhouse put back into service under a programme the client could follow — with cost-plus elements only where the fire had hidden the full extent.
