The job
Taking a convenience store through the wall into the unit next door — structure, services and a new shop floor.
What we walked into
The existing shop still had to trade. The expansion had to be built, fitted and handed over without turning the original unit into a building site.
What we did
- Opening-up between adjacent units
- Structural and services work sequenced around trading
- New retail floor, joinery and refrigeration positions
- Planning and building control as part of the job, not a side errand
Outcome
A larger trading floor delivered as one job, with the original unit protected while the new side was built.
